October 14th to November 8th

Reception, Saturday October 14th from 6 to 10pm

Mark Eaton

Born in Pittsburgh PA, raised in Seattle. Though he received some education at cornish and assorted workshops, Mark is predominantly self taught. A full time artist, Mark works in oils employing under-painting and glazing techniques. Subjects range from abstracts to landscapes, with favorite concepts related to calm, peace, patience and balancing opposites. "You help create this world with what you communicate while you're here with us. Much may depend on what your saying, who's listening and how, why and what they choose to hear or see at a given moment. Do what you love, be what you truly love. Have faith. You are."

View the eclectic oils of Mark Eaton. His use of color and light through glazing and under painting are both beautiful an evocotive. From landscapes to abstracts Mark paints reflections of inner realities that invoke a personal response on ones own terms.

The artist will be in the gallery on Saturday Oct. 28th from 11:00 to 5:00, and Saturday Oct. 22nd from 11:00 to 5:00.
