Karl Krogstad
"I am proud to be at this great gallery again!
.....I often paint to music, and whether it be Dan Hicks or Bjork, I
find myself covered in goose pimples.
My gal, Eve Wright, and I bought a 100 year old church on Willipa Bay
and we both do artsy things there.
It is there that I paint with acrylics. In Seattle I work in colored
ink & pastels. It is this that separates what
you see. I paint in two radically different ways. My public showing
of work (not cinema) is influenced by
my frames. My frames finish the paintings.
Oh by the way, those goose pimples take something out of you. By the
end of painting, I am spent.
