Matt Bazemore
"Bazemore Does Ballard"
April 14th to May 9th
Gallery 63 Eleven welcomes Matt Bazemore in his first one man show with the
gallery. Northwest native and Ballard resident Matt Bazemore, is a plein air painter who seeks to instill a spirit of life into the rural and cityscapes he creates. "Its's my intention to capture the atmosphere and essence of these places. A slice of Americana and a bit of an idealized journal.
Matt was born in Spokane, Washington in 1958 and moved to Bellevue in 1966. He graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham in 1985 with a BFA in fine art and relocated to Seattle. Since becoming a plein air painter in 1997, Matt has been part of group showings and has also enjoyed solo shows in Arlington, Bellevue, and Seattle.
Matt is available for commissions and studio visits by appointment.
Please join us for the artists' reception on Saturday April 14th from 6 to
10 pm, on the Ballard Artwalk.
Matt Bazemore will be sitting the gallery on Saturday April 28th, from 11:00 to 5:00, to paint and
talk about his work.
