Scott McDougall
paintings and Posters

Artist Reception, Saturday, June 9th, 6 to 10 pm
One half of this show features acrylic paintings of rock and cloud formations along with
Studies of water movement. The rock outcrops were chosen from a recent trip through
Montana and Wyoming. The wavescapes are the latest works in a continuing series of
Pieces portraying little walls of energy turning inside out. All of the paintings are acrylic
On either canvas or wood and range in size from 5 x 9" to 20 x 30".
The other half of the show includes posters selected from the past 14 years of a 38 year
Stretch of producing hand-lettered and drawn posters in the psychedelic style of the 1960's. The posters were printed by screen printing or offset lithography for a variety
of clientele. They were all produced in the "old technology" of black and white line
drawings, with most having separate layers for individual color plates.
